Mea Culpa - (Italy)
Mea Culpa uses grapes from Puglia: Primitivo del Salento, grown from 50 year old vines. The remaining 40% comes from Sicily, Syrah from higher altitude vineyards and a composition of mouth-filling Merlot.
Puglia - Sicilia Italy
Dark, deep, ruby red color. Complex nose that immediately overwhelms us with a sumptuous arsenal of scents. Dark (mostly black) fruit, hints of leather, cocoa, tobacco and southern spices. Firm but nicely balanced mouthfeel. Here too, its rich complexity is emphasized once again. The finish is long and impressive.
